Looking at the Viking Reload GT looks like a great yak for inshore, flats an marshes. Would be easy to transport and good for those quick trips. Anyone have this kayak and could comment on its performance. Curious on how it compares to the Tarpon 120.

Thanks for any input

Come by Mariner Sails and check out the Viking for yourself.

There is a Tarpon 120 within a few feet of the Viking for you to make an immediate comparison.

Am a Texan, just got transferred to Florida bang

You have any insight on the Viking Kayaks, Profish Reload GT and/or the Profish 400. I am guessing the Profish 400 has been out awhile and the Profish Reload GT is newest in lineup. I like the idea in the GT the center pod can be removed and replaced with a flat deck. The Profish 400 center hatch is concerning regarding not much room for legs. I am not a big guy 5'10 195, but like the idea of a open deck.

Thoughts, Thank you.

I've seen some good reviews on the Kayaks and their features, but the price is comparable to other kayaks in the same price range, but with much nicer seats, which few mention.

Just one more cast!
