I posted a lake report on the high water at Whitney and Aquilla on my blog yesterday... lots of photos of some of the ramps and marinas. Whitney Lake Online Most ramps are closed due to high water.

Thanks for the report Armadilla. How much longer do you think the McCowan ramp will stay open. I have a campsite reserved there for Thur-Sat

I was hoping to get down there next weekend. Looks like the Lofers Bend ramp is still useable, too bad they closed it.
How much does Harbor Master charge to launch there?

Thanks for the report Armadilla. How much longer do you think the McCowan ramp will stay open. I have a campsite reserved there for Thur-Sat The water is within a foot of the top of the ramp. If the lake keeps coming up, it will close in a day or two. Also, as shown in some of the pictures, a number of the sites closer to the water are already underwater.

Great report. Thanks for the photos. +1 Never been to Aquilla but after watching Bill fish it on Honey Hole, sure looks like a lake I would like!

We did that photo trip on Tuesday.. now Friday... Whitney is now up 12 feet and Aquilla 9... crazy.
