With Lewisville being wrecked, I took two trips out to Cedar Creek this weekend. I had a good time shooting docks as this was the first time I had done this. My question is - does this produce from the post spawn to winter (when the fish should be deeper)? What are the peak times to use this technique? What are other lakes that are productive for shooting docks?
Thank you in advance for any and all input.

From now till end of fall I usually catch em on docks just fine. Winter, I'd rather drink hot chocolate.

When the suns up high I like to find the deepest darkest spot on the dock and shoot jig in there.
