Thanks Will. Looks like there is a decent amount of brush already in the water.

Cracker, there is a ton of brush in the water! I don't know how long that type of brush will last though (not sure if it's hardwood or soft). Hopefully it comes up 10', doubtful I know though. Looking at the graphs it has finally started to inch up again, they seemed to have closed the dam gate. Looked like they were letting out almost 1k cubic ft of water for a few days.

Huisache island still won't be fish able at this level. frown

Thanks Will. Were those whitecaps on the second pic?

Our area handled the flooding fine. The blanco-wimberly area has some serious issues though, record flood there.

frio was moving pretty swift at HWY 90 on my way back from Amistad. Hard to believe if the lake doesn't take a good jump. Nueces, on the other hand, was a madhouse at hwy 90. lake CC is gonna get a flushing

Lake CC probably has the gates wide open. Folks down on the coast are going to get plenty of fresh water to flush out the bays.
Hopefully they'll shut the gates and won't let much out during the summer to at least hold the level of CC through this summer.

Why would they open the gates on CC (Choke Canyon?) as low as it still is? They dont need any water south of there.
