Great show. Question: I was under the impression that if using a top water frog, no matter the brand, braid of 20lb or in some cases a lot heavier, is the recommended line to use? Bill was using 15lb fluorocarbon...... Ok, I'm dumb....which to use? God Bless

Lee; I use only 15# Suffix Mono with my frogs and do not have any issues with hookups. Line weight and kind is a personal preference. No one can really say (as fact) that one is "better" than another. Everyone has an opinion though. Use what you are comfortable throwing. I landed a real nice 7# Lake Athens bass on 15# Suffix Mono off an ABU Garcia Black Max stuck on a 6ft Shakespear Ugly Stik,,,,, with a Ribbit Top Toad. Use what you like......& don't repower that nice Stratos.

Can you ask Bill to handle the fish a bit more carefully. at the 18m mark he catches one and while kneeling down he causally tosses the bass back, while I usually have no issues with that, the poor thing hit his head right on the rub rail as it went back in.
Even the small fish are important!

Even the small fish are important! You're kidding right?

Yes you can use mono for frogs. But its not the best line because of the stretch. braid is best because it floats which allows you to work your bait easier it has thinner diameter which allows you to cut through vegetation, it does not stretch on the hook set which allows you to penetrate the large diameter frog hooks into a big bass on a long cast, and its more abrasion resistant that mono. and you arnt dumb stick with braid
