I know the rain WAS a welcoming sight. The lakes rivers and ponds are all full now. It can stop! Hope everyone stays safe! Haven't been home in a little while but would like there to be some dry land when I come back lol!! Good luck and right lines!

Atta, it's been a Spring for the record books for sure. Live in Dallas area, and my local lake's come up about 35 feet in the past month and a half. Almost over the spillway now. I'm currently vacationing down near where that house got swept away in the San Marcos/Wimberley area, and it's still overcast, gray, wet, and the search party is out looking for those 8 people who's house got swept into the river yesterday. Prayers should go out to that family, and the families of the others killed in the flooding yesterday. I want Lake Travis to fill up badly, but not like this.
And on a lighter note, the lakes will all need a lot of time to settle down, but when they do, it'll be amazing fishing with all of the newly submerged brush.

I've lived here nearly 60 years and seen some remarkably wet Springs. This is one for the books.
Y'all be safe out there, go slow.
