I spent all day at the 66 bridge only managed to catch 2 crappie on minnows tried jigs also. I could only get my boat under a few of the bridge sections because the lake is so high. But I will say is is nice to be able to use the ramp agin. Anybody seen any action at the 66 bridge lately?

66 hasn't been good for me this year but I fish by the bank. I don't think they came in very thick this year. In years past when u had my kayak and boat I would have better luck on the high bridges by the creek channel. IMO I THINK ITS BEEN A MESSED UP YEAR FOR THE SPAWN. Never a bad thing it happens and in a few years those fish will grow and be a great year with a bib population. I believe they are scattered right now with all the rain and all the water that's coming into right now. Give it a few weeks and hit the bridges again and it should be void again. Good luck.

Imho, leave the bridges and find bends in the old river channel that have brush on them. Creek channels are good for this too. There are a few ledges out there that hold fish too. Bridges get tons of pressure and don't generally produce for me. Maybe I am not holding my mouth just right or something!
