For those of you who may not have had the pleasure to meet and fish with Benny aka BJH (JUST JIGGING) he is not only a really good crappie fisherman, he is one of the least selfish individuals you will ever meet.
He is a Vietnam Veteran and a retired Firefighter. There is not much more you could possibly ask of a person to serve their fellow man than what Benny has done.
Now I have to go into hiding, he is not one to toot his own horn. And he probably will hate this post for that reason. But todays church sermon was a stark reminder for us all in the congregation to thank a veteran for all that we have to be thankful for as citizens in the United States. So this is my tip of my hat to a real life hero here among us.
