It has been a while since I have gotten into long ears great fish. We have a few in the ponds but not many.

Robert, that is a redbreast sunfish, not a longear.

Thanks Anthony, I showed the pic to a guy at the ramp and he told me a long ear, but when I got home and googled it, the pictures did not match. No matter. It was a hard fighting fish and the pictures don't do justice to how colorful it is.

Haha we called those long ear all growing up think they misnamed them looking at actual long ear pics lol.
