Any tips on catching the little fighters in muddy water?

I hate fishing in muddy water. nuts When I do I usually put on a bigger piece of worm. I also use a very slow retrieve. thumb If you use soft plastic baits or other types of artificial baits use a dark color. hmmm This has always worked for me. cheers

Monday after our heavy rains I caught a bunch of Green Sunfish on gold Mepps spinners and spoons. If there is an outlet with water leaving the pond/lake they like to hang out there and catch food caught in the cuurent.

Looks like muddy water is in store for awhile. Use bigger baits.

Also larger baits and a slower retrieve.

I have always used baits that made noise while fishing in muddy in water. Baits like Rattle Traps worked well on Bass. I would think smaller baits that made noise would to well on Bluegill.

Slow retrieve or fast retrieve doesn't matter so much as a steady retrieve. Gives the fish something to track.
