Fork is fishing tuff right now with all that prop noise. I fished my Plum trees and my graph showed all the crappies with their fingers stuck in their ears. You got to sneek up on them and use that Blue Frog, that's the only thing I found that they will thump.

Man fork was really good for me this weekend. I've had a few trips there lately with Ray Roberts flooding. We had a limit Saturday by noon. Had 5 2 pounders as well! I have more trips there this week as well. Fish seem to be very concentrated in specific areas. It was hot and heavy around 7-8 am and it slowed down until 930 or 10. But it picked back up to finish out a limit!

Yes. Nothing I caught came out of deeper than 10-11 ft or water. Not one! And you had to be fishing with a minnow!

Cody is correct. We have been slapping big crappie in moderate depth water. Minnows are working best.

Caught about 30 keepers and tons of little ones and sandies between my father in me in about an hour and a half off the 2946 bridge with minnows. Bout 12-15ft down in 25-30ft of water. Since our trolling motor broke down and we had to tie up it was an unexpected plus for the weekend smile.

Frenyz, same report here. fished 2964 and 514 bridges today. minnows around the cross brace seemed to be the answer. still though, only catch one per pier, then had to move on.....

Someone told me 4 flood gates are open on Fork. Falling water is death for the crappie bite, in my experance.

Now I know why they turned off my last trip.
