Just heard on the news that since yesterday Travis is up five feet and they said it's possible it could come up 7 more feet. That means in just this weekend it's possible lake Travis could come up 12 feet. Just coming up 5 feet, is the highest it's been since 2012.

Hoping everyone is ok in this crazy weather. Lots of destruction in Wimberley and San Marcos/Kyle.

Lots of debris floating in the water also, so if you are running Travis, keep a watchful eye on where you are going. I've seen some pretty big stumps and branches in the water.

The overnight difference in level is remarkable.

I heard that it would take a historic event to get Buchannan back to normal pool. I believe that Texoma came up at least 32' from its low and they are releasing it. Buchannan just needs a series of big rains to the NW.

This is true in the rise amount but remember "Full Pool" on Texoma is 617. Thats only 6ft low... Its 26ft high and rising. Keep that in mind when talking about water level. Texoma was never 32ft low. '9094' was right, Texoma was only 8-10ft low before the rise

Never said by anyone on this thread, "Texoma was 32 feet low" he said 32 feet from its low.. which is a true statement.

exactly, I believe that I stated that it went up 32. 32' of water is 32' of water no matter where it started from. Now you could argue that as a lake goes up it spreads more it and will take more water to fill it. I do not believe that I ever mentioned normal level.

662, 7.7 feel low of it's 670 average, one massive turnaround since the 1st of the year, heck since the 1st of the month. It's almost like it was a good thing that we had that much storage space available.
