Is gone...too dark to take the picture. I walked down the road about 100 yards and there was noting but tree tops. I am not sure if it is totally submerged or perhaps only the first part.

The west lake side wasn't under as of last weekend. I bet the lake is over the spillway by midnite

I went to Lakeview Marina to check on my boat yesterday. Only the treetops were visible on the old dam. And the water is nearly to the main office at the marina.

I think it starts going over the top of of the spillway at 532 feet. But I'm not sure

Yes, I went down Garza Rd to the old dam the Friday before last (May 15) and it was just tree tops. I couldn't get to Westlake Park because it was closed.

We got 2" of rain in less than 30 minutes last night in Bedford, not sure what the Lewisville area got. And there's more rain in the forecast cast!

One thing you got to consider is the drainage area. If you look at the satalite view in google maps you can follow the creeks and rivers by looking at the green areas. For example, Grapevine's watershed goes all the way to Bowie. Lewisville's includes Ray Robert's releases but also Sanger, and areas to the west of Denton.

Yep, "the cut" (old dam) is totally under water now. We drove all around the E side of LL today looking at the high water. From the toll bridge all you can see of the cut is the tops of the trees.

This is crazy. I am looking forward to when I don't have to drive 80 miles each way to get to a lake.
