 Fish Population from record low

So I would assume as a lake reaches record lows the fish population has had to have suffered.
Am I'm I thinking correctly? If so how long would you expect for population to recover?

Depends on the depth of the lake. If they have the 100 ft. of water to go to, Bass just become very hard to catch. When the lake fills covering the new growth they will gradually come back following the bait fish.
Lakes that do not have that kind of depth will suffer for sure if it last very long. Most of the south TX. lakes see this rise and fall usually on a 10 year cycle. Falcon and Amistad are the two that I have watched over a 35 year period of fishing them. They always come back bigger and better when the water rises. It takes deep 30 ft. tall grass on Amistad to bring back the numbers of big fish.

We have noticed a significant drop in the number of Unders on Fork this year. Has to be an affect from the lake levels and no grass for the fry to survive.

We have noticed a significant drop in the number of Unders on Fork this year. Has to be an affect from the lake levels and no grass for the fry to survive. ? or the fact that the age class that is strongest is the one that is in the slot or over right now... in 3 years you will see a TON of unders at fork from this spawn.
