I got an invite from now good friend Larry "Lenahorse" Clark to come fish Tawakoni. Bad weather was coming and we almost cancelled but I am glad we didn't. We were on Sandbass early then he took me looking for Hybrids.  We found them for 2 hours of steady catching with several double hook ups.  Thanks Larry for a great trip, I can't wait to do it again.  Everything was catch and release and we caught all of our fish on 4 inch chartreuse sassy shads from Moe's Tackle. We also threw 4 inch white ice cohoes from Moe's which produced pretty good as well.

Larry has spent plenty of time this past year on Tawakoni and it has paid off. Glad you got into them and put them back. There are plenty of sand bass to keep if you want to clean fish.

Larry is a great guy. I wished I could do some trips with him but work schedule has been hectic lately. Larry is one of the best guy on TFF I've met. Larry I'm looking forward to see you out there at Tawakoni. Wife and I are planning to head that direction this Friday if work allowed me. Great catch today as always!

 Congratulations to both of you on a well deserved fish catching trip.
Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.
