What was the pattern that worked so well? Excellent trip right there and for sure if they saw you, that spot will be fished intensely by the bass guys.

They were feeding well yesterday. One fish got wrapped around limb and broke off, re-tied and dropped back down, thump. It was the same fish that just broke off.

Deep water brush or standing timber? I don't fish that lake but curious of what other patterns are working. For me lately it has been docks in water anywhere from 4 feet deep to 13 feet deep. The water level on my little local lake is so high I don't call it dock shooting, more like pitch it to the edge and let er fall. I can't seem to find fish of that quality though so ya im a bit jealous.

The stumps on the West end. The drop offs on the dam. The tree line on the North shore by the ramp. The island brush pile. That lake has some nice white crappie in it. Believe it or not, there are some big, big black crappie in there also.

I've just recently fished that cove and found some but north wind made it tough. Ready for nice day relatively calm to hit some brush. Thanks
