If you can through all the new growth, there is plenty of water to get up there. It is pretty thick going around the golf course.

Wondering about the current. Would like to take my son catfishing, but don't want to go if the current is too much. Safety first.

I was at the dam at Lavon a couple days ago, and they had 6 gates open, pretty fast current. I would think fishing would be tough in the river, but I've never been up there before.

I've had some pretty good days up there when the water was moving good. I helps to position the fish. I hope the new water will flush the hogs out of there.
