Ive posted a little about this before.

Im looking to learn bass better. I moved here from the TX coast and feel like ive learned to consistently catch whites (easy), crappie, and have gotten a real interest in black bass lately.

I know its been tougher than usual this year but im starting to get frustrated. Ive been out quite a bit in the last month or two, mainly Lewisville and Cedar Creek lakes, and have had little luck. Ive been reading my butt off on techniques and patterns and whatnot.

I have a boat, not ideal but it works. 16' CC alum Sea Ark outfitted about as best I can do with my resources. HB 598 SI unit, new TM, anchor pin, etc. It rides a bit rough but again, it works.

Would anyone be willing to let me ride along, or jump in my boat and show me around? Hopefully Lewisville, since its my home lake, or other nearby lakes.

I have a trip scheduled next week with Andrew Grills on Fork, im sure ill learn a great deal there.

I am free most days to fish on short notice, and would also like a consistent fishing partner that I could learn from for awhile. Most of my buddies either arent interested or work the regular mon-fri schedule and have other things to do on weekends.

Don't know anything about either of those lakes. What techniques have you tried? My most productive where I fish is a weightless Texas rigged 5" Senko. I like black with red flake. But don't think color is as important as presentation. I would imagine most lakes in Texas should have a morning top water bite. Try this too. Good luck keep trying.

Lewisville is a tough lake, and it will take some time. Once the water goes down, shoot me a PM. I'm far from figuring out everything, but you can tag along and watch me fumble through my thought process. I'm constantly checking different areas to see what they hold.

Lewisville is a tough lake for me when the water is normal! I like Ray Roberts better personally, I think the bite is better
