Those of you who own or have used both the 2014 and 2015 model PA do you feel like the improvements are worth upgrading from the 2014 to the 2015 model? Does the skeg make a considerable difference and is the mirage drive noticeably better?

I can tell you the new H rails are sweet and when I pulled the skeg up it made a difference but I'll also be curious to hear from those that have upgraded.
BTW, the H rail extends to the front of the cockpit so I've get everything on my kayak I want and I haven't drilled a single hole.

Yeah I've seen that comparison on that website I was just trying to get info from someone who has actually experienced it. Thanks for the info though. How much better do you think the new model really is?

I have no experience with the skeg yet but the mirage improvements are really nice. I'm probably going to convert my older mirage drive.

I haven't owned a 2014 but have spent a little time in one. The skeg to me helps a lot when peddling in a cross wind. The h rails are awesome. And the new manage drive is significantly smoother making long distances easier. It's hard to say yes upgrade because they aren't cheap but they are very good improvements IMO.

Thanks Jason....I was offered $2500 for my 2014 so I'd have to shell out roughly $700 for the new one. Do you think it would be worth it? Oh and are you fishing this week on wood?
