As some of you know I moved to Tampa about 6 months ago.
I had not fished in 5 years or so and had sold my pontoon boat.
Well I have bought me a new pontoon here in Florida. 22' Sweetwater, 115 Yamaha 4 stroke,
8' power pole, Gps with down and side scan. I havent caught but a couple of crappie here yet. Its going to be different here with the crappie, they are telling me they spawn in late November - December.
I have been out in the flats in the Gulf and have caught quite a few Trout....
Guys please keep my updated on my old fishing hole (Benbrook)....

At least you can launch a boat in the gulf and not worry about flooding, most Dfw lakes are closed due to high water, and it is pouring this morning,I have fished both salt and fresh water and I think fresh speckled trout is about the best eating that there is.Good luck down there and post a few pics please.
