Went in just to walk down lunch, you know just looking.  PowerPro Slick 8 on sale, 150yd $7 off, bought 3 of those, and AllStar ASNANO 6'6" Worm, regular $90, on sale $44, got 2 of those. North Richland Hills store...I'm not a strong man.

Well...... I just got on Taackle Warehouse to "look" then I remember that I'm out of bobber stops, then hooks, and well some plastics, hey that thing looks cool. I've never seen that bait before. Ohhh look. that's my color.... 20 minutes later 150$ gone........

My wife has now termed it, "Academayo"
I've easily dropped 1,500 a 2,000 in there the last two months. I guess that comes with owning your first boat.

This is the exact reason I'm glad FTU and Bass Pro are 30min. away. If they were as close as Academy I'd be so beyond broke....

Happens every time. I cant remember the last time I got out of there under $100. I probably haven't even used half of the stuff I bought.

I have BP 5 mins from work and Academy 5 minutes from home. I'm cursed. I wish they were that close to Athens---- Academy Tyler-- 45 minutes BPS -- Garland 1hr 15 minutes so when I go there I think I am never going to make it back & I buy 3-4 of everything, even though I still have over 300 bags of plastics in my fish shed. it is an addiction...HEY....maybe I should start a "Bass Fishing Clinic" group, kinda like the Betty Ford Clinic. Think I could get some customers ?

Haha I went to buy some plastics the other day and left with three bags of what I went to get, one bag of something "cool", some more frogs, and a new Falcon rod. I had no self control when I go to a great tackle shop.

Of all the stores in DFW that offer fishing gear, so far, Sports Academy is my favorite!
Surprisingly, my least favorite was the big Barlow's Tackle Shop store off Central at Arapaho.
Addendum: Yes, I've always called it Sports Academy.
