Fishing has been good at Whitney the last few weeks catching a lot of fish and big fish to boot. Never really got a shallow or top water bite so far, was hoping with the influx of water and the flooded grass it might send them shallow. Just hasn't happened, been all ledges and edges on the stripers, with the flow in the river channel the edge of the channel has produced some good fish. Found another school of big fish up the lake the other day near the mouth of a creek and put fish to 16 lbs in the boat. We have a tremendous amount of stripers from the 2013 stocking from 14" to 22" and they will flat wear you out! Better take bigger baits or you'll go through a lot of bait. Great things happening at Whitney and great things to come! You ought to come get ya some! Here's a few pics from the last few trips! Hope to see ya on the water!

One more thing, been a rumor floating around the lake that I retired from fishing! Not on my life LOL. I'm here, staying here and catching big fish! Gotta run! Everyone have a great day and again, God Bless Ya and hope one day soon to, "C Ya on the Water!"
