Wished I would have read Lane's report this morning. "Catch the aggressive crappie and keep moving". That is strong advice and would have saved me a lot of time.

Never the less I stuck with what I was seeing and waited for a bite. Fish were caught in plum trees in 12 to 20 FOW. Drop down, hold it still, keep a upward pressure and slowly raise it 1 to 6 inches until your line felt heavy. Lazy Crappie, they never did thump it.

Anyways we ended up with 2 limits.

Good job Kirk. Nice report too.

I knew someone would fall for it.

Don't you know how to identify plum trees with your SI?

When the trees are PLUM full of crappies, they gots to be PLUM TREES, right?

How's your wife recovering? Hope all is well.

I think Lane said it right. I waisted a lot of time to catch 1 or 2 more fish. If I would have kept moving it wouldn't have taken so long.
