If yall like to carp, and clearly you do, and you are doing the Vegas thing, check out Lake Mead.

I was just looking at some old pics of when I lived out there and I am telling you that is a carp fishermans dream!

We used to catch 20-30 fish in half day all over 10lbs up to 25lbs just chumming with sweet corn canned corn and using the same for bait. Fished from the bank just about anyplace you chummed they would come.

Just a thought, if you are doing Vegas, thats a really great carp fishery no one talks about at all.

Tight lines guys!

I can verify the carp population in that lake. I used to live in Vegas. Fished Mead all the time. There were literally schools of these things EVERYWHERE.

Look on the lake side of Hoover Dam, on the Arizona side and there are hundreds of big carp swimming around.
