There aren't that many lakes in the metroplex to choose from right now. Grapevine, Joe Pool, Lewisville are all non accessible.

Usually it's for big bass and whoever catches big bass gets it all.

The $50 is optional. If you choose not to get into the side pot and you win, you do not get the money that is in that pot. It will go to those who entered the side pot. It's just another opportunity to win more money.

It is an optional $50 that pays 1 place per 10 entries to heavy stringer (you must be entered in side pot to win it). It has absolutely nothing to do with the big bass pot

what about having an off limits saturday so the fish don't get beat up on Saturday per fishing for it.

After talking to several people we have decided to postpone this event until lake conditions improve. The lake is very muddy and expecting awful weather on sunday. Sorry for the inconvenience
