Showing 6-7 inches in a few hours, hopefully it fell in the right location. With the amount of rain we have had lately in the area, this should be a bunch of runoff. Lakes at a little more than 12ft low this should put a big dent in that.

Reports are 3-4 ft of water on 114 in Bridgeport, and numerous road closers. Sure hope everyone in that area is safe tonight. Looks like a lot of flash flooding, from drought to flooding.

The lakes watershed and the lake itself got hammered...The Trinity will be at flood stage pretty quick. I can see from my back porch the lake is already up two feet in two hours. It will be full by the end of the week.

My boys and I spend a lot of time Boy Scout Camping at Sid Richardson Scout Ranch on the lake. Been looking really bad the past few times out this Spring. I'm really happy to see it getting some much needed rains. Hope folks are not getting hurt by flooding though.

They had some good rain true but there was also a tornado that did some considerable damage in the runaway bay area , injuries were reported, and multiple high water rescues were needed. I lived in the twin hills area at lake bridgeport for a few months awhile back and am glad I moved back to Decatur, though now that the lake is filling up I wish I was there again....just my luck. The rain will be good for the lake but please keep those harmed and affected by the storm in yalls prayers. Lots of good people out there I met.

Filling a lake that was 23 feet low in less than one month will be incredible. I'm sorry to hear about the storm damage and the flooding, but I'm glad the lake is probably going to get close to full or full.

RAB looked apocalyptic....Lots of twisted trees, fences and debris all over. The lake will be full by Memorial Day. The 380 ramp is still usable this AM, but not for long. The Shell ramp is open as is WCP.

Still rising at a rate of 2 inches per hour. 8.83 feet below full pool. It would take a little over two days to fill the rest of the way if the current rate is maintained.
