With all of the rain and muddy water - and with more rain in the forecast - how do you think this year's TTBC will go down?

Shallow flooded vegetation? Deep cranking? Something in between?

And who do you like in this type of conditions?

It's going to take both this year, Lynn. The spawn is at least 75% done. There are big fish starting to show up out deep and there are still tons of fish shallow in the flooded vegetation. I think starting shallow early then moving deep will be the ticket for the winner.

I'll pick KJ but that's a sentimental pick. Combs is an obvious pick with his recent experience there. Rojas should do well with Kermit and I think Mark Rose will be a contender again. And IKE!

With the lake higher, I think KJ will do well. And this year, I like Rojas and just about anyone who can throw a frog well.

I think the shallow water fishermen will fair better this year, but I believe it will still be the guy who can commit to a deep bite for all 3 days.

Rojas should have a blast in the least if not win it.

COMBS COMBS HE'S OUR MAN!!!!! I want him to OWN this tournament.

If he can't win then Jason Christie is my sentimental favorite.

edit field listing... And Ps I think it will take both shallow and deep... I don't think you can consistently catch them that well cause they are so spread out shallow

I fished Fork for 11 days straight prior to Sunday---blew my L/U at the mouth of Penson around noon Saturday---ouch.
No deep fish for me but the Frog bite was off the chain buddy... Dean should do well, some big slots up shallow and they count in this event..
Taking the Toon down to SRA point to enjoy the concert Saturday, it'll be party ON..!!!!!!! banana

You probably couldn't get away from the frog long enough to look deep very well, Billy.
