Has anyone else noticed the fish seem much smaller on average at Fayette this year? Last year I was hard pressed to hook a fish under 3lbs on the lake. This year is seems like 2lbers are the norm. I'm still getting the occasional 4's and 5's, but they seem a lot fewer and father between. Perhaps it's just me.

Went Saturday and caught about 20 and noticed the same thing. Best fish about 3.5 I thought it was just because we fished shallow out of the wind (relatively). Gusts up to 30 mph.

I'm fishing the same spots with the same techniques. So it sure seems like a major size difference to me. I know average fish size can easily change over time on a lake, I've just never seen it change that fast.

There's not a lot of grass. A few spots here and there.
