I will be living in Georgia for the summer and was wondering if yall new of any good crappie lakes around the Louisville area (about an hr SW of augusta)? Thanks

I never fished around Augusta, but Clarks Hill is decent from what I hear. Lake Murray in South Carolina would only be about an hour and half from you but if you going to drive that far you might as well hit the East Coast Crappie MECA ( Santee Lakes) . Lake Marion (north lake) would be closer to you. Lake Moultrie (2 hrs from you) doesn't have the numbers as Lake Marion but consistently produces 3 Lb plus crappie. Look up INKDABBER under the SC forum on "the other" big crappie forum for the best reports.
