Bought some Costa sunglasses a few years back. Was told they have lifetime warranty on the frames. These are prescription lenses. Really like the glasses they are Man O War frames. Only use them when fishing, they stay in the boat all the time and the lenses have no scratches on them. Only wanted the frames reconditioned and I was willing to pay for the refurbishing of them. Costa now tells me they don't repair or service any prescription glasses older than 2011. I guess what I'm saying is don't buy Costa Prescription glasses if you think you might ever need them repaired because they don't even want to talk to you. I went to my Dr.s office where I purchased them and they were told the same as stated above that they only were warranted for one year and they don't repair or refurbish prescription glasses older than 2011. Seems I should have been told that at time of purchase for glasses that were over $500.00

Try Maui Jim's, I had several pairs of them and their service was always fantastic! They never even asked what caused the problem, just 'send them in and we'll take care of you'! Having said that, if you wear prescription glasses, you can't beat Costco! Used to wear Maui Jim's but, last time I needed glasses, went to Costco...got two pair, one normal bi-focals the other prescription bifocal sun glasses. Total cost of each pair was $150. Previous prescription glasses from Lenscrafters cost me $300 and that was after insurance paid $700!!
And, if you need hearing aids, do yourself a favor and go to Costco in Plano.....I saved over $3,000 on the exact same pair I had planned to buy from an audiologist. They are tearing up the hearing aid market and running a lot of overpriced sellers out of the market. Ok, jumping down off my soapbox...

That's unfortunate. Costa usually has great CS. They make fantastic sunglasses.
