Would like to spend the winter in South Texas Coast area.... Have a 35' fifth wheel so would need a RV Park (reasonable priced) and set in a chair and fish from jetty, dock etc.....
Give me some ideas...........
Thanks

Another place to consider is the RV park at the south end of South Padre Island. The park is south of the big causeway. It is close to the jetty and ship channel. There are a couple of piers in the area to fish also.

You'll need a flats boat in Mansfield, the S. Padre suggestion is really good, but that park stays pretty full, better make your reservation now for this winter.

Now that I live in Rockport, there are numberous RV parks in my area. Lots of wade/bank/pier fishing within a 15 minute drive. But having been a prior Camper RVer, I'll tell you up front, I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAMPER ONTO OR IN THE SAND AGAIN!!!!!!!. YOU WILL NEVER get all this sugar sand out of your camper. Been there done that. Stay in a RV park off the water. I recommend Raintree RV park, next door to me. They have a lot of activities during the week in their club house including poker nite for the boys. waaay fun place. Extremely nice bunch of folks
