Canyon Lake is almost full guys. Level is 901.00, operating level is 909.00. Come on Guadalupe River : bring it on in.

comal station 7610 cfs at present. lake is on it's way!
update: 7720 cfs now!

Poor old Medina came up 1.39 from yesterday. It's up 12 feet from this time last year, but it's still -79.65 feet low.

It rose 2 ft in two days WOW. Could this be the start of some good fishing finally? Also noticed a lot more grass.
How come I keep catching small fish when every product I buy is supposed to catch more and bigger fish?

902 would mean that the ramp #11 upriver at Rebecca creek should open!
I remember when the lake level would hover around 906 to 909 but that may be asking too much now days with everyone wanting water out of the lake, especially SA.

When is the last time it's been this high?
How come I keep catching small fish when every product I buy is supposed to catch more and bigger fish?

When is the last time it's been this high? A few years ago, hasn't been that long. Canyon has really held its own the last few years considering the amount of water being pulled from it. It's some kind of miracle that it hasn't been down at least 20' with the drought we've had.

Canyon lake level has done real good since they stop releasing water from it years back for the trout they use to release downstream. That was a killer for that lake. Water was released from the lake to keep the trout alive downstream. Somebody finally got wise an stopped that non-sense. But they do have a water pulling station that's located on the other side of Cranes Mill Park where they send water to another county (not sure exactly where it goes) but I remember when they first put it in. People weren't to happy about that either. If the Guadalupe keeps coming in, then lake should get up or closer to the operating level which is 909.0. Keep our fingers crossed.
