We were going to Lake Leon but...We are headed to lake Coleman today. It finally caught a great deal of water. I will let you know how it goes. In 2013 we caught lots of 18-19 hybrids in kayaks since we couldn't get a boat in. Wonder if they grew.(Oh and notice no whining on my posts about other fishermen. Just helpful information. LOL)

The lake ramp was still out of the water but we put a tritoon in at the ramp. The locals have been backing to the right of the ramp and into the water and launching was easy. The hybrids were clearly up the shallows in the running water. We saw a few people who caught very few hybrids. We did catch several large crappie while trolling. The lake was clear to 10 plus feet much like the water clarity of PK.
