Was out there today and was surprised to see about 30 boats there today. Fishing was good on frogs & sinkos that morning but slow down when the sun came up
Water look good.
Any more guys fishing there any other fishing reports and how are you doing

Late fluke bite over the hydrilla. Only got one in the boat, but was hit by a few (including a HOG). I was working with a repaired rod, and a smaller hook, trying to figure something out.

We had small club tournament there yesterday, we fished 6 am to 2 pm if there were thirty boats during the day they hid themselves well. There were maybe 15 trucks at the ramp when we came in.
The upper north end of Blundell was very stained, from power line cove to bridge water was stained. The back of Smith was stained with pockets of clear water.
Our other members caught fish all over the lake. Unfortunately for me hook sets were poor on the front deck, had close to ten "good fish" come un-buttoned, three of which felt very good. Only managed to boat 4. Back seat partner did well, his best 5 went 16+ pounds on paper. We stayed north and fished swimbaits and frogs all day.
The winners fished senkos in coves near the ramp, second place fished senkos, ribbit frogs and spinnerbaits, over open water grass beds, in the mid section of Blundell.
We did see a couple bedding fish in Smith.
