The 13 omen rods are hard to beat for the price.

This. 13 Omen Black series are excellent rods, and for less than $150. Avoid those Shimano rods. . .

Been fishing crucials for the last 7 years

Absolutely great rods. Sensitive and hold up well over time
Have many models for any application

The crucials always feel a little under powered to me and I think for the price it should be a little more sensitive.

Bottom end of that range, I would look at TFO.

Top end of that range, I would look into Powell Max or Kistler. Both good rods at the top end of that spectrum.

Can't speak to shimano, because I've only owned reels, not rods. I own 4 Duckets and do not love them. They are ok, but always seemed underpowered and not nearly as sensitive and responsive as my Powells, Kistlers, Dobyns, or even cheaper TFOs.

Denali Rosewood is a pretty nice rod. It's sensitive with good backbone. I bought my first one just over a year ago and have since added 3 more. They are within the middle to upper end of your price range of less than $200.
