Hello bass fishing fans! Lake Fork and other East Texas Lakes are producing some great catches in both deep and shallow water. This next couple of weeks should offer a great opportunity to catch a really big fish with all of this fresh rain! On sunny days I would focus fishing weightless Senkos in 3-6 ft, flipping stumps with soft plastics or jigs in 6-12 ft, or graphing offshore points humps and roadbeds in 20-30ft. Look for signs of baitfish and sandbass offshore as the largemouth will usually be close by and will bite a variety of baits once located. On cloudy or rainy days fish around shallow flooded grass and bushes in 1-4 ft with topwater frogs, weightless Senko and fluke style baits. If you fish a lake that has healthy aquatic grass or are looking to learn more about how to catch late spring largemouth in grass check out the video below. As always, thank you for watching/commenting, and good luck on the water my friends!
