Managed to finish a couple jerk baits this morning.

Tear an old cotton T-shirt into small squares (4x6 or so) and use it to wipe out the cup and needle tip (carefully) after rinsing the cup and tip out with water.....
At times the Q-tip fuzz can get into the tip and cause spray issues.... after cleaning pour a little water in the cup, loosen the needle lock nut, pull the needle back a little and spray until the cup is empty. That usually get any "junk" out of the tip. Hope this helps.

Really like this pattern.....thinkin' it would be a bass catcher.

i can personally guarantee it will drive small mouth crazy. xcaliber used to make a twitch bait that had that pattern.

I foiled a couple jerkbaits and just finished painting them. What do ya think?

Tried a new blank today. My bream pattern still needs some work. Attempted a pumpkinseed bream and failed miserably so I tried a basic bream pattern and got this.

Dang TX, that is most awesome. That sucka looks real. That is what you are after. Well done.

Where did you get that blank, TX? I can never find them in stock....anywhere. Nice effort. For bream I try to avoid too much iridescent or pearl.....just on the throat/gills and maybe a mist over the back. Just enough to make the bait look alive.

TX....if you get bored...try adapting this pattern to a foiled lure like this one: (which, by the way, is a really nice job)

Silver Minnow
Light Blue - base.
Mesh on sides and belly.
Pearl Gold - Thru mesh. Back from nose to tail. Remove mesh and mist the back with Iridescent Green
Iridescent Yellow - Light mist over the sides along lateral line.
