Praying is like a rocking chair - it'll give you something to do, but it won't get you anywhere

The answer is yes. In the event you go to another lake that is not downstream.

Question, why would you not want to pull your plug at the ramp, and drain that nasty water out of your boat? You like burning fuel to haul around lake water? You like that nasty water sitting in your boat, maybe to breed mosquitoes? I'm sure there are many more reasons to drain your boat after every outing, the only reason for not doing it is laziness. How hard is it to pull the plug?

Guy, how much water do you get in your boat?

I usually don't have any.

Depends. I normally always have some to drain out, if I'm climbing in and out of the boat with my waders on it can be quite a bit, or if it is raining, or pulling the minnow bucket in and out a lot, etc... Duck hunting I get a ton of water in there. I'm pretty anal though about keeping my boat clean where my bilge pump is, I see it as an opportunity after every outing to drain my boat at the ramp, and clean mud out that settles in back there. I normally get home and hose it out more.

I know RR is full of zebra mussels. Pick a rock up or look at the docks and both are covered.

Do they want you to crawl up under the boat and dry the bottom?
Sit there and wait for the carpet on the trailer to dry?

Because the 70 mph wind on the way home has no chance of drying the outside of the boat! What an incredibly stupid law.
