I am heading to Caddo Lake this weekend for the first time. Is there anyone that could shed a little light or steer a man in the right direction to catch a few there??

I've always caught good crappie west of Uncertain toward and around the 43 bridge in the river.

I have not been there this year, but if I was going right now I would fish the outside of bends in Aligator Bayou. If the fish is not there then would move and fish the base of cypress trees around islands or cypress breaks. Better yet, hire Henry Lewis at Johnson's Ranch for a half day. You will learn more from him in a half day than from us on this forum in a week.

Water is going to be high, may be too high.
