Palestine is definitely full. If you plan on fishing this week be very careful at the ramps and running the lake. I scouted lots of water today and sank a couple new brush piles. I caught a limit of fish for the fryer. The fish were relating tight to hard cover mainly bridge pilings suspended about 10' deep. PEPOPS sour apple jigs did all my damage. I also caught some fish on standing timber with the fish suspended just the same. Give me a hollar if your interested in a trip this next week. The fishing should only get better with the lake stabilizing. Good luck everyone.

Good report and glad you got back on them so fast. Your report and jig color will work up north of you too. Its just finding the right timber. If anyone was ever going to hire a guide now is the time.

Went out for a few hours this afternoon and caught 18.Caught all these fish on three docks in Saline bay. I tried the bridge and there was a lot of current flowing through there. No takers there so I called it a day. Several of the fish I caught were on the large side. Nice afternoon!
