New-to-me boat is rigged and ready, but I haven't had a chance to go.
I'm going tomorrow come hell or high water!
RC, CC, Pal, Twok, or Fork?
Thoughts? Pros & Cons?

I would think the water in Fork and Tawakoni has been the most stable of lake levels I usually watch but don't know how the fishing is. Tawakoni has been hovering around 3.25-3.8 low for a couple of weeks and Fork has been hovering right around pool.

Eric, I'd hit up CC. It's also been pretty stable for the past month or so. You could also do Fork, but you better have trees marked. It looks like a completely different lake and a ton of stumps about 6 inches under the water.

Doesn't Fork have that big Legend Boats bass tourny this weekend. It'll probably packed.

I was out fishing for catfish this morning off the dock at the 515/17 public boat ramp at about 5:30am 25ish boats were launching one after another. I ended up leaving because they started needing to pull up to the fishing pier because the courtesy dock was full. I went back out later on to pick up some bait and to fish for a minute and there were bass fisherman all over the place. It was extra busy even for a Friday.

Stucky is right....but I'd pass on Fork. Hopefully CC is pretty stable by this weekend. So much water in all these other lakes is not conducive to a consistent bite!

I'm gonna go with CC tomorrow. Closer to home if it rains, and I know enough brush piles to keep me busy. wink
Hopefully the jet flees won't be too bad.
Will post a report.

I mounted it under the step and ran the cable up thru the splashwell drain to keep it away from everything. Mounted the 2D thru hull.
Everything looks good, we'll see how functional it is tomorrow. smile
