My crop of Jalapenos are growing nicely and I would like to jar a couple jars of sliced peno's. Anyone have a good recipe they wish to share?

I use a 50/50 mix of water and 5% white vinegar, garlic cloves 2 per jar) and canning salt to taste. you can add onion and carrots

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Get a big jar of Bread and Butter Pickles and eat them all, save jar and all liquid, replace pickles with jalepenos put in fridge for a week possibly adding a little sugar, shake daily, wonderful B&B jalepenos. GREAT.

This is what we do but we add a little sugar. I like them hot and sweet.

Once you get them canned. How long to you let them set before they are ready to eat?

They are ready to eat as soon as they cool off.

I buy Trappy's hot and sweet Jalapeno's. I noticed that they use high fructose corn syrup rather than sugar. Might want to try that.

This but add a tablespoon of dill seed and 1 dried red chili just for flavor. I also add cauliflower, carrots and onion. I've had mexicans tell me they're the best.
