That's because it ain't that good... Lol.. I'm sure I'll get cursed for this comment but they just feel cheap to me and don't perform very well. IMO they don't stand up to the old 200's or the white chronarch 200's. By the way I think cabelas still has some chronarchs at $149...

That curado I is more refined than any previous Curado. If you keep the race a tad bit oiled, they cast way further too.....$129 is a great deal.

This price plus the Academy $10 off card I got in the mail is tempting me big time but I have one of these reels and I am not too happy. I love my other Shimano reels but this one just isn't as good as my Chronarch or calcuttas. After a day of fishing if I don't put a little oil in it the dry sound when casting comes back. It is really annoying. I do the level of service I see on the Shimano You tube videos and before that I was told I was putting too much oil into the reel. I have no other reels that give me this kind of issue. Maybe I will go get another Chronarch.

I'm going to academy to get a couple. I will admit, I don't think they're as good as my white chronarch 200 series but they're ok and I haven't had any issues thus far. $129 is a steal considering I can't find ANY chronarch 200s in 7:1 anywhere for under $200
