Want to make a trip down with my boat. Any lodging recommendations like cabins etc close to decent ramp and fishing. Thanks

If you want to splurge there are canal side houses in Palm Harbor near Rockport that gives you direct access to the ICW.

Kon Tiki - access to several bays ( Aransas, Copano, St. Charles and Carlos Bay )and has it's own boat launch.
