 Anyone fished Canyon Lake lately?

Got a bachelor party trip at a cabin there. May fish out of kayaks. Never fished there. Lookin for some advice!

Largemouth. Guadelupe or smallies but never caught smallies so don't know how to target.

Small mouths are mostly by the dam; but you picked a tough lake to fish at. Good luck and be careful.

I'm not much help I havent fished it in about 5 months but you can catch smallies all around the lake.. 3/8oz-1/2oz jig or dop shot on points and around the bluffs. Fish around the boats ramps fish always hang around there! I cant catch fish past canyon park so I always head west Good luck to ya

Thx yalll! I didn't pick the spot. I'm just along for the ride. If it's my choice I'm goin to Lake Austin or stay around here and go to fork. Appreciate the help!

canyon is tough....if you catch a handful of bass in a day consider it a slammer.
