OK, so I have done a lot of searching and here is what I have.
Pflueger Purist Graphite Fly Reel (Up to 7 Fly Line) $26.82
Reel comes with flies and line
South Bend Fly Rod, 2 Piece (9-Feet) $21.95
South Bend Fly Kit, 25-Piece $5.63
100FT Weight Forward Floating (5F) blue Fly Fishing Line $12.90
Total: $67.30
Tell me if I am getting a good deal on this stuff.
Also tell me how this stuff works in saltwater.
also How it works overall.
Another question that I have, How will a 9f rod work for Redfish?

Hook a redfish on that and you will end up with chop sticks.  8-9 weight.....you might can get by with a 7 weight if the redfish are small. Saltwater rod and reel, unless you like rust! 5 weight is good for trout, smaller bass, ect.

Rod length is 9' if you plan on wading. Go shorter if you fish from a boat. 8' 6".

http://www.redington.com/fly-fishing-outfits/path/This is the least expensive, quality set up I could find when I was looking for a Redfish Rod. 9 Weight is what I got.....you hook a Jack and you will need it. Some fly shops(online) will throw in free line and backing. Gotta look around.

Does it have a sealed drag? Yes it does have a sealed drag. I also switched to 8 weight on the line. Also reel comes with backing line + fly line.

And I will be fishing in a kayak mostly. Will 9 feet be ok for that? I only use the 9' out of the yak. IMHO, you need an 8wt for the wind, larger flies and the fact that your butt is much closer to the water... it limits your back cast so you need the "reach" provided by the 9'.

Might want to consider the sales going on at Cabelas to save you some money. For your first adventure in fly fishing, I would consider buying the Combo packages where every thing is matched up for you. You can use fresh water fly equipment in the salt if you rinse it off real well after each use. Take a look at the 8 weights if your going to use in in the salt in order to buck the wind with larger flies:

yep lots' of good advice on cabelas outfit. Unfortuantely, that Pflueger clicker reel shown won't stop anything but a "cold" if you add the medicine for the cold. Just because it's got a name brand- doesn't mean it will work for salt fly fishing. If it were me I'd pony up to a good outfit and enjoy the fun.
If you want to take the next step buy a good matched TFO outfit and you'll never look back....

Red,
You said you were switching the line for an 8 wt WFF. I just want to make sure you are switching the rod to an 8 wt as well.
While a line wt up or down can work on any given rod weight, a 3 size jump is pretty drastic, and will require greater skill to cast well.
For a beginner, the recommendations above are a better option to build an outfit.
