Did he say how he lost them? I always enjoy hearing the background on stories like that.

yes he lost 3 rods i guys the fell of the deck of his boat when he got a little to close fro some brush and yes it is is he desrcimed the model length and even were we found it. i am shocked that with a real on it it did not sink al all if i would have lost this rod i would have went in after it these are not cheap if i go to lime stone this week this week he will meet me at the ramp and pick it up I am just happy I was able to get it back to the owner. I believe in karma and you should treat every one how you want to be treated, and i for sure would have wanted someone to try to return it. but what are the odds that he was a member hear that is nunts i did get a lot of calls guys guessing what it was but now one was close to the rod or the real or the scratches on the reel

Glad that you found the owner. Losing gear like that would suck.

The bright side is that gear is being returned to it's rightful owner. The downside is there are people low enough to try to claim something that wasn't theirs. I hope those people blow out all their tires on a double axle trailer.

ya it was kind of funy for a while listing to people just pull stuff out the air trying to guess what kind of rod and real t was one guy said he lost 4 rods that day all of the TFOs so He named them all and the size with reels when i told he no he was wrong he then acres me of keeping his fishing rods. I just clad the real owner called. he know exactly what it was and the real was on it. and the color of the reel.

That was my rod and thank to Chemdawg for his honesty. If we meet this week bring a couple of 32oz bottles of bait I want to try it.

at fist i thought it was just a cheap broke rod and was going to keep it. then when i look at it a bit closer i realied what it was. losing something like that would hurt any ones wallet to replace. I cant actly believe i found the owner on here. I know as soon as i posted it there there would be a bunch of guys claiming it. when he called and said exactly what it was and the reel I was socked i hope to get it back to him this saturday when i go back up to limestone

Last year you may have found several broken Skeet Reese rods. I pulled out of Park two and stopped to catch some shad. Had 6 poles up in the rod holders and took off under the 3371 bridge. Forgot to pull my rods down. 6 snaps and a big slap to the face later I was headed back to the ramp with no poles to fish with. Hard lesson learned.
