I like to stay close to home, but probably need to range a little further this summer, or at least scout different spots. I couldn't catch anything but small fish at Palestine last summer, and had to wade through lots of small ones to get much else at Cedar Creek, too. And I've always had that problem at Bardwell in the summer.

With Richland-Chambers full this year, maybe I'll make a trip or two over there this summer. Tawakoni's not that long a drive either, but just like Richland-Chambers, I haven't crappie fished it at all.
