It's not rising like most. I heard they may be trying to keep it static right now because of the 276 bridge construction. Anyone know if there is any truth to that? Seems strange that Fork and Hubbard went way up and Tawakoni did not

They did miss out on most of the heavy rain that fell Sunday night. The brunt of is went east of Tawakoni.

Seems strange that Fork and Hubbard went way up and Tawakoni did not We were out there all weekend and were told that they are going to hold it at the current level until the two mile bridge is completed. This was just the local buzz so I can't swear it was true.

They have to be manipulating the level or it would be full....I drive over it every day and know how much rain the area has gotten....... It is what it is.....hope they don't regret it

They have no way of controlling the level of the lake, it has a spillway and no gates to be opened. Unless pumped, I can't imagine how the hell its going anywhere.

Water is still headed to it. The Sabine is still flowing, It usually takes a few days for all the runoff to get to the dam. It also did not rain as much in most of its water shed as some of the others.

That is crazy. One would think with the intense flooding, they would put some construction project on the back burner for multiple reasons! I think it's dang near impossible that the lake isn't at full pool by now simply because lack of run off...but who knows.

One thing that has to help lakes like Tawakoni and Fork is that there is nowhere to put the water that is typically pumped out of them. All the DFW area lakes are full, some of them flooded.

Tawakoni is a lot bigger than the other lakes that are full. And there is no way of letting water out of Tawakoni. Just give it time. She'll get full
