Narrows is located just before you get to Smithvile turn off. It is the long concrete bridge that crosses the river just off hyw 259. You cannot get that far up in a bass boat unless river is up.To put in at the narrows is more or less using the dirt road for a ramp, no good place to leave a vehicle. I may drive up Friday morning and see what it looks like at Turkey creek.

Millwood in Arkansas is 7.25 ft high right now but it is expected to get 13 ft high.

Gates are opened and releasing 24750 cfs and it is still rising. Gates may have to close to keep the Red River from flooding even more.

Corp is locking the gates to parks and closing ramps already.

To add to all this there is more rain expected for the next 7 days.

Any updates on Broken Bow? I see they have opened some gates and releasing a rate of 6000 cfs. I'm thinking about heading that way Sunday and hope to fish Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm 500 miles away.

The ramps won't open for at least a week or ten days if we don't get any more rain I would guess. You can get in up north at Holly Creek or Game reserve.

Thanks

No. Looking like maybe Sunday it will be down enough for them to open 2 ramps. Still needs to drop a little over 3 feet to get to the point that they CAN. I can't say they will,,,

Had a guide tell me today that it might open this weekend. Looking good. Should be 619 something tomorrow. Got our fingers crossed.

I don't know, you can't predict what the corp will do. I would think they will keep spilling until it is back down to normal but that will depend on the weather. From all the spilling from all the surrounding lakes barring a flood, they will keep going another 18 feet worth. So at least another 18-20 days minimum.
